Project Tab

With UNDET Project tab you can create new project from ASCII, LAS files, open existing project and close created or opened project.

        - Launches New Project Dialog Box, imports Point Clouds from ASCII, LAS, FLS and PTS files to the new UNDET project, which manages point cloud data visibility and classification;

      - Closes current UNDET project file and removes Point Cloud Data from the current drawing;

      - Opens an existing UNDET project file and inserts Point Cloud Data to the current drawing;

Some UNDET Project parameters will be shown in the List to check if everything is correct in initial data files:

      Project file – shows the path to created or opened project file;

      Project type – shows imported project type;

      Scale – specifies the scale of imported Point Cloud Object;

      Point count – the number of created points in the project;

      Min Point – coordinates of lowest point in the Point Cloud;

      Max Point – coordinates of highest point in the Point Cloud;

      Intensity (min, max) – the range of color intensity of the Point Cloud;

      Offset (min, max) – the difference between the origin of Project coordinate system and the origin of Original coordinate system;

You can also change some parameters of opened project here:

      Coordinate system:

Original – Coordinate System in which 3D measuring was done.

Optimized for 3D modeling – Coordinate System, estimated by program for optimal performance.

Add/Modify – Custom coordinate system.

      Max. Visible Points Count – this value shows the maximum points, which can be visible in your active View section. If View section is too big and number of points exceeds the value, specified in this field, the Preview Mode will be turned on.

      View Section boundary - you can change the View Section boundary settings such as Color, Line Weight and Transparency.

Limitation of project

One Windows user can open only one UNDET project at one time.
